Kees Grootenboer

Kees Grootenboer, a Mexican painter and sculptor of Dutch descent, is an iconic figure in contemporary art in Mexico. Born in Mexico City in 1940, his work reflects a rich combination of cultural influences acquired throughout his life in Mexico, Spain, Venezuela, and the Netherlands.
